| Dr. Sharona Dayan DDS, DMSc earned both her B.S. and Doctor of Dental Surgery from U.C.L.A. She then earned a Doctor of Medical Sciences and a Certificate of Periodontics and Oral Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine She was a Clinical and Research Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital where she studied the genetics of oral cancer. Dr. Dayan has received over five years of periodontal education beyond the general dentist degree. More recently, she received advanced training in Dental Implants from the prestigious Misch Implant Institute. |

She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is affiliated with the American College of Oral Implantology, American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She recently presented at the Yankee Dental Congress on the subject of palate-free gum grafting using AlloDerm®.

Dr. Dayan is the Director of Boston Dental Alliance, an affiliate of the distinguished Seattle Study Club a world leader in dental continuing education. Dr. Dayan is highly committed to giving and receiving advanced dental education. She receives over 150 educational credit hours annually, which is five times more than what is required in Massachusetts to maintain licensure.
